sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y

If I run these commands, will it upgrade to v23? Or will the system be corrupted?

The synaptic package is installed with the "sudo apt install synaptic" command. Synaptic is run and upgrade tools are searched. The system upgrade tool package is selected, installed and run.
