With the steady progress of the internationalization of the Deepin community, we are pleased to announce that Deepin's 8th overseas branch community - Bolivia Station - has been officially established! This also marks a further increase in the influence of the Deepin community in South America, and lays a more solid foundation for Deepin's globalization journey.
Bolivia is a landlocked country located in western South America, with rich cultural diversity. Bolivia has several "world's greatest", including the highest capital city in the world, La Paz, the largest plateau lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, the famous Uyuni Salt Flats, also known as the world-renowned "Mirror of the Sky", and now the most beautiful desktop operating system, Deepin.
The team leader of the Bolivian branch is an experienced UI/UX designer. Since 2015, he has had an indissoluble bound with deepin. The first time he met deepin, he was attracted by its aesthetic design concepts, smooth operation experience, and robust performance, and since then he has become a senior fan of deepin.
Deepin Bolivia's overseas branch community opens up a new door of choice for local Linux enthusiasts. The team will localize the Deepin operating system based on local language, culture, and user habits, so that the Deepin system can truly reach local users. We believe that as Deepin's globalization strategy continues to advance, more community sites will emerge around the world.
