3.0 is a very important release. It is really major, not just in version number - its architecture is completely different than that of 2.x versions. Previous Master PDF Editor versions were built as virtual printer, printing in PDF, and 2.x releases have reached their potential quality limit. 3.0 has fundamental differences in inner logic, and so allows quality and performance improving to much larger extent.

For example, due to virtual printer-like structure old versions always recompressed images and other content in PDF files, which is not done by 3.0. Previous versions did this even if just a note was added to the document, while 3.0 behaves correctly and just adds one object, not changing anything else.

Another major feature is introduction o* support with V8* engine. This allows a lot of new features to be included into PDF files, like automatic fields formatting, calculations etc.
