3.2内核大幅度改善驱动，提升网络性能，真的很快。不过原装的3.2内核可是不含电源补丁的（据说3.3内核才会加入），本本发热怎么办，又不想用古董内核？不用急。
从 ubuntu发行版3.2.0-3.9内核开始，canonical公司已经决定融入Matthew Garret这位红帽高手的电源补丁。现在经过了5个版本的开放测试，稳定，还有许多专为ubuntu的优化。

恩，如果大家不知道怎么安装Canonical的核心，可以按照这个过程（以3.2.0-14.23内核为例）：

32位
i386的很容易，选择i386的就好了，就是点击i386，只要找到linux-headers-3.2.0-14-generic_3.2.0-14.23_i386.deb，linux-headers-3.2.0-14_3.2.0-14.23_all.deb和linux-image-3.2.0-14-generic_3.2.0-14.23_i386.deb即可。

64位
amd64的安装麻烦些，首先先去i386那里找到linux-headers-3.2.0-14_3.2.0-14.23_all.deb，然后到amd64那里找linux-headers-3.2.0-14-generic_3.2.0-14.23_amd64.deb和linux-image-3.2.0-14-generic_3.2.0-14.23_amd64.deb。

把上述文件deb包下载到一个单独的空文件夹之后直接sudo dpkg -i *.*就好了，重启就能享受3.2内核的高速快感啦～～～～绝对无apparmor，unreadhead的问题。实测10.04LTS上稳定，速度快。

PS：本本族的话可以试试，我在LD11.06.1上安装后正常启动无任何问题。

以楼主的意思，大概是说，官方的内核3.3以前没有电源管理补丁的。这个补丁是ubuntu整合第三方开发的。

前阵子折腾过内核，3.2的不知是不是当时还没出正式版，装完后无线驱不起，log显示bt系列被黑名了（blacklisted），不知什么意思。
不知现在大家装的这个3.2有没有无线问题？

测试了一下下，内存占用确实少了，不过没感觉温度下来，是否还要装下闭源的N卡驱动

64位或32位内核包中的三个文件必须要解压到同一目录下，然后在终端中输入 sudo dpkg -i *.*就好了

注：经过本人亲身经历，请大家不要下载 http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ 网站中的3.2.5内核包，否则 LD11.12的开机关机logo 会看不到!!!!!
