Deepin 定位于提供Linux世界中最美观易用的桌面发行版。在最近的几个版本，我们计划逐步重写或以合作的方式，对用户最常用的系统预置软件进行开发，全面更新 Linux 的桌面环境体验。

在新的 Linux Deepin 12.06 版本中仍然延续这个方式。为了集中资源，我们没有完全从头构建一个发行版，仍然基于Ubuntu 12.04 进行定制开发。Linux Deepin 12.06，定于2012年6月31日正式发布。

本次发布，仍然同时提供32位和64位 ISO，体积控制在700M以下，提供独立的简体，繁体，英文版本下载。

4月30日
Alpha 版，构建内部测试版本。

5月10日
Beta1 版，面向社区的测试版本，收集特性建议。

5月31日
beta2 版，对外公开的测试版本，bug修复。

6月10日
特性冻结日

6月15日
RC版，准备发布文档，进行集中bug修复。

6月30日
Final版，正式发布

感觉这个系统做的不错，可以适当使用，毕竟已经被windows毒害时间太长了，不过想要普及linux确实难度比较大
