如何安装其他桌面

我用了11.12.1版，想试试mint 的mate桌面，可是下载deb包后，安装失败，启动时桌面选择无mate那一项。求高手指点。

老兄这个问题提的不是很针对性。

安装 mate 参考：

#1,编辑 /etc/apt/sources.list:

在终端输入下面命令

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Copy the Code

在文件末尾添加：

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ lisa main upstream import

Copy the Code

保存。

#2,更新软件列表，

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linuxmint-keyring

Copy the Code

#3,开始安装

sudo apt-get updateCopy the Code

按照你说的做了，可是在倒数第二个命令sudo apt-get update升级源时失败，提示少了W: Ignoring Provides line with DepCompareOp for package gnome-shell
W: 您可能需要运行 apt-get update 来解决这些问题
，执行apt-get update后，又执行了最后的命令sudo apt-get install mint-meta-mate又出现新问题，提示要某些依赖，却不会安装依赖，说是我要保持某一些软件的版本，破坏依赖。附上截图。

安装不了软件包冲突死了安装mate这个心把
