    多半出于稳定考虑，LZ想要追新软件，不妨用Arch或者Gentoo/Funtoo了。

    其实是想知道xorg-server1.11.4ubuntu是否做过优化，好决定升级不升。。

    因为Ubuntu不升级，所以LD不升级。
    至于12.12，由于可能会用Debian，而Debian对待软件包更保守（例如，Debian宁愿宣布在某个Debian支持周期内提前停止对Firefox的支持，也拒绝升级到下一个大版本），所以还是有可能仍然停在1.11系列。
    当然届时有可能就会自行组建软件仓库了，那样的话还是有可能升级的。
