so if i put in the ROOT name and password.....that would be what?? NAME = Deepin and PASSWORD = ???? WHAT??

Password. Current user's password
If you need to root, so set the root password
- sudo passwd root

I go to SYSTEMS -> PRINTER , and I get a PAGE that is grayed out. I see "all settings Printers" and "add New Printer" button and also "no printers available" in the white section.
the buttons do NOT work.
IN smb.conf : under Printers,
load printers = yes
# LPR PRINTING***
printng = cups
printcap name = /etc/printcap
# CUPS PRINTING *****
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
did i do this wrong ??

大家好，我是个新手。我在自己的家庭网络里面无法连接到打印机。Samba工作正常，我连接网络也OK。
我进入“系统”-“打印机”，页面却是灰色的。我在里面看到“所有打印机设置”和“添加打印机”按钮还有白色的区域显示着“无可用的打印机”。
按钮不管用。
在 smb.conf 在打印机设置里面我是这样设置的：
load printers = yes
# LPR PRINTING***
printng = cups
printcap name = /etc/printcap
# CUPS PRINTING *****
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
不知道哪里出问题了呢？
请大家帮下忙，谢谢了。
