    软RAID是可以安装的，而且是ubuntu推荐的方案之一，ubuntu的安装文档上写着linux内核直接支持的软RAID程度一定程度上超越了普通的RAID。see：

    妈呀！建立raid的步骤跟我一模一样。但是没有说将系统安装到raid里。
