I've installed the 4.4.0-2 kernel using Synaptic, but the uname -r command returns with 4.2.0-1-amd64 which means the system is using version 4.2 instead of 4.4. How can i configure Deepin 15.1.1 to use the new kernel?

When it is ready they will provide a Deepin Patch in your updates.

In this case why is that kernel there? For developers only?

Anyways, the kernel version has changed after reboot, so the system is now using version 4.4.0-2. But nothing changed. I installed it because i tought it contains never driver for my AMD GPU so i will be able to change brightness level, but unfortunately still can't do it.

When it is ready it most likely will be accompanied with additional Deepin patches and a official announcement.
