Hi, Welcome to the Deepin Forum. Something about the caps lock being a dde-session daemon grab, try this :

  1. gsettings set com.deepin.dde.keybinding.mediakey capslock ""
  2. gsettings set com.deepin.dde.keyboard layout-options "['ctrl:swapcaps']"
Copy the Code

Please see this post for a better solution

When it does work it throws a dconf error after every terminal startup and the swap works, after reboots this change is lost.

Could anyone let me know where the config files are to do a manual swap?
