    Hello, I'm trying to install Deepin 15.3 on my Asus laptop (i7 6700HQ, Nvidia GT960M) but after grub, the screen goes black.
    I've tried setting parameters like nomodeset, nouveau.modeset=0, nouveau.blacklist=1 but nothing, black screen after grub.The usb is not the problem, because I have installed it in other pc (intel graphics) without problem.
    Thanks for your help and sorry for my english.The screen says: nouveau 0000:01:00.0 priv: HUB0 10ecc0 ffffffff (1940822c)

    GT960M only or Dual card  optimus？If you still got a intergrated video card, what about blocking the Nvidia model via bios settings?

    Dual card, but i've search in the BIOS and can't find the option to disable nvidia card...

    weird.......it should work properly on a GT960m video card as many have done so.........problem may be your CPU,i7-6700hq is  a 6th gen chip which has not been well supported by the current kernel ,according to the officeial,try out this version if  you may.....    https://pan.baidu.com/s/1jHRFrIe

    Yes, maybe it's 6700hq the problem, yesterday i've tried ubuntu and the same happens... thanks for your help! I will try the version you told me

    I have some minor issues with the startup time or changing background, but minor bugs, i will try to resolve them, thanks again!

    Now I have 2 bugs, can't connect to wifi (don't let me enter the password), and can't shutdown (nothing happens when I press the button), but i understand this version is in developement.
    One question more, can I update it whe the updates comes out? Or i have to install it when new update is released? Thanks and sorry for my english again

    known that 6th gen Intel CPUS are not well supported by nearly  all Linux distros based on previous kernels,this version is a so called "internal society testing" version of deepin,specificlly dealing with this issue.Can you get any updates available by the option in Control center or by apt-get upgrade in command line?According to deepin official,this version was tuned for the new CPUs and the rest should be the same as released versions.I think they should be back on working now,after their holiday.........https://bbs.deepin.org/user/48640
