Its realy super confusing to always see those chinese release announcements.

I dont want to be rude, Im not even from England or the USA, but from Germany, but having all those random chinese threads in between the english ones makes it so confusing.

Thank You (for your software ) and have a great day,

Greetings,

Eddy

It's even more confusing when you ask something in English and someone asks you to do something in Chinese. Those characters look interesting, but mean nothing to anyone who can't read them.

You can use Google translate or something similar to translate the web page.

Like I said, it would be good to treat chinese as "one" aspect of deepin forums and english as the main one.

I do agree with you although I am a Chinese. But from another point of view, most of Deepin developers and users are Chinese people. So I think they may not be very friendly to the English-speaking crowd because of the gap between languages. I hope that the internationalization of Deepin will get better and better.

yip and like I said , I am German.

Its just easier for everyone involved to make the "offical" stuff english, to  take away the confusion.

As I can see, the main goal now for Deepin team is "development", and "internationalization" is just one aspect of it.
To be honest, this question is far more complicated than choice between working language. Efficiency, policies, language hegemony - all of these should be the concerned.

Those characters look interesting, hahahaha

What language should be set as default? Maybe English is the better answer. Most of the linux user can understand those simple english.

The suggestion for developers is, try to set the language to english and use for a week to find out those untranslated Chinese characters.

I realy dont care if this website is chinese, or the project.

Its an awesome project, but participation is hard because the english parts of the websites are unmainted, of low quality, or just missing.
Its realy stupid that we have to discuss about something essential like this.
