About the password:
They use 16 characters because normally, if we talk about data and passwords, 16 is one of the default limit. The computer works on escale of x2 (2,4,8,16), and for your suggestion, deepin developers will have change to 32 limit. I've never seen a password with 32 digits, but, you know, some people are security obsessed.
They are good suggestions, I'd like the default list view in the file manager; deepin has to improve to be at the level of Nautilus. Well, I use deepin file manager lol

well in relation to the password limit, if someone wants to use 32 characters and can remember it, more power to them. just wish it's larger than 16.

Thanks all for your suggestion.
By discussion, there will be one view mode as default, either icon view or list view.
Someone needs icon view and others needs list view.
We will stay in icon view and you can customize whatever you want to change.
And for the password, I will pass it along to relevant team member. While it is them who will determine whether it can be achieved.

You can set List view as default in Deepin Filemanager V1.6 now.
