    My name is José Marcos and I'm from Brazil. I recently installed Deepin and then Evolution, but I am not able to access my email account. After the configuration, it prompts you to enter the password, I do this, but the following message appears: "Something went wrong - Try again" I have already enabled Imap in Gmail and gave permission for less secure applications. What I find strange, it's before Deepin, I used Linux Mint and it worked correctly. I really like Evolution and would love to continue with it. Can you help me?

    Holà José. Please check your gmail mailbox. You should have received an email from Google regarding your attempt to access your gmail account from Évolution. By default, Google refuse third party mail clients, due to security restrictions. You can manage this from the link provided in Google's security warning email.

    Sorry for the delay in the response. I was able to resolve by changing the GMail password inside Evolution itself when it requests access data. Thank you!

    I think it was the issue of Evolution service. I have done nothing and  I can access to gmail successfully now.
