Hi everyone,
I tried to make a back up a ssd disk copy into another harddisk using deepin clone to make an (.img), so after restart and choose deepin repair at GRUB.
Once I select options and click start:
I am prompt with a (maintenance) password, I don't know what is that password,
It says bad password after 2 attempts and reboot
I mean is not the one I use daily at deepin linux O.S.

Just wondering,Could be that after reboot the keyboard locale is messes aand is no more my spanish one?

I add 2 screeenshots of what I got

Gracias, Thanks,谢谢

The default password will set by you create user when you install.
you can try your origin password when you install deepin.

Iceyer,
I already try it with my user password, that s why  I suggested at the post that perhaps the key board language is changed, If not I don't know why I can not log in with recover deepin clone.

I suggest you login to your deepin system, reinstall deepin recovery system, then it will let you set a password for this recovery system. Use this password you can login to the recovery system

Hi Imever.
I just did it, don't works.

To clarify it: If I launch deepin clone and use my password there is no roblem, but If I reboot and choose recovery at GRUB after boot, then the password don't works.
Please anyone using spanish or any language not english can try it?
I imagine, on live system deepin doesn't changes keyboard language, so probably sets english by default, and that provokes the bug on my spanish language phisical keyboard.

(reboot is needed as you can not clone the disk if you are using it)

Try those code

  1. apt-get purge live-filesystem
  2. rm -rf /recovery/
  3. apt-get install live-filesystem
Copy the Code

Ok Imever.
After I tried your last code, during reinstalling live-filesystem I was asked from terminal to set a password for it, so I wrote mine. And problem persisted after reboot.
So I thought again must be related to the language set during live system not matching with my spanish key, So I repeated the code, but setting an easy password with no shift combinations or symbols, and it worked!.

Thanks Imever now I have my security back up.

But If any developer is reading this, please check and fix it, there is a bug when trying to use deepin clone on live system, if your keyboard is not english and your password is not very simple.
