    I installed Steam from .deb package but than installed it from the store on top of previous installation

    Steam hangs randomly in 5 or 10 minutes of runnings. Killing the process is the only solution.

    Yep, I can confirm the issue. For me, Steam freezes as soon as I run it. Happening after upgrading to Deepin 15.7.

    I've installed newest Steam from official site and it works without problems. Try to uninstall the version from Appstore and try to install the version from the steam website.

    I looks like removing steam from ISO was not a such good idea

    I installed it from store because .deb package installation had the same issue. So the deb installation has no meaning.

    Maybe the problem is related to libcurl. The deepin 15.7 uses libcurl4, 15.6 and olders uses libcurl3. I can't use php-curl also. I can't install gitkraken and maaaaaaaaany other stuff.

    Using Steam as a Flatpak and it works fine, flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo && flatpak install flathub com.valvesoftware.Steam

    I would recommend you to install the .deb from the official page. Before doing that, do a purge

    sudo apt remove --purge steam*

    then proceed to install the official .deb
