Hello, deepin 15.9.2 beta is now released. As the repository migrates to Debain stable, there may be some problems. In order to collect and process user feedback, this post is created and only valid during the test period. We will track this post and deal with the issues actively.

2019.3.15-2019.4.17

The key points that could be contained in your feedback
Hardware driver compatibility: Do the hardware devices such as video cards, network cards, and sound cards work normally?
Running fluency: Is the operation on desktop environment smooth? Are there any bugs?
System stability: Is the system stable?
Ease of use: Does the software repository meet your needs?
Other suggestions

Notes
Please submit relevant logs, screenshots, screens, etc., so that developers can locate the specific problems.

after upgarde to 15.9.2, i got an annoying behavior on windows menu style, its hard to scroll, when the bar reach the top, its hard to scroll down...

another thing were the intel UHD 620 driver on screen recording, mostly i got flickering.... its happening on every screen recording software

I have tested it and the ram usage is slightly higher in the stable version, sorry you are getting screen issues with scrolling.

now i lost my system tray on the dock... how to bring it back...

please help to bring my tray icon...

Update: when i created new user, i can see the tray icon like wifi and battery icon... there should be a way to bring my tray icon back for old user..

update: i have solved it

Sound Icon is little bit Dimmer and Smaller to compare other. There is No headphone/earphone connected Icon.

I did not detect any incompatibility and / or instability in this version.

Unfortunately, the Deepin Store is not fully loading. But, lets download any app searched it by the search bar.
I do not know if it is applicable ... When removing pendrives with the image of Deepin (15.9.2 Beta and the Live System); the wrong storage value is displayed (one thumb drive was 2GB and the other 8GB) - see the image.

It does not change anything. Deepin continues to be the Rolling Release.

Instead of users connecting to the "

anda" repository, they should now connect to the "Stable".

Using stable packages, the system will have fewer dependency problems... ensuring greater stability and consequently compatibility.

Installation
Installed (dual boot with MS Windows) on "Dell Precision M4800" laptop, but after boot the machine throw error "Invalid partition table!". Have to boot in failsafe and set the "boot" flag to my Windows partition. Can boot into after restart.
Note: This might be a one-time issue, will do another installation for testing when I have the time.

Usage
The desktop is smooth and so far didn't encounter any issue.

Hardware support
Display, sound, wifi and other basic (mouse, keyboard) are working properly.
Update: I connected 2 monitors (via VGA & HDMI), but only VGA is detected.

I solve this problem before months...
I just added the repository of Deepin's Spanish community for latest firefox and thunderbird.

You have to register first to download the repo's .deb file.

Install the deb file and then open the terminal and type:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install firefox-latest

Copy the Code

When a new version is available, this build will be upgraded on its own at program's startup...

I was transferring a movie to the pendrive; soon after - still with the film being transferred - I clicked to send the legend.

The transfer is totally "crazy". After you to move the movie, the transfer completes without problems.

Google drive web app is not currently included in V15.9.2 beta repository.We may add later.

I've installed this beta version in my old laptop.
I have not noticed any issue so far.

The few questions I have are:
Will this version continue to be developed?
or is it just an experimental version?
will in the long run replace the 'unstable' version?
And if so will this happen automatically through updates?
Or will it need a clean installation?

Yes, version 15.9.2 Beta is the basis of version 15.10; which will be released in the coming weeks.
It probably does not need a clean installation...

Bugs with Deepin (DDE) 15.9.2/3 Beta,
[1]: At "All Windows", when you drag one of the opened windows, to the corner that closes it, you will get a small live desktop on your screen...If you right click it, it disappears.

[2]: A strange bug happens whenever you go to "All Windows" and you start picking-releasing one of the windows. After a while it becomes transparent...

[3]:The preview when you press space bar on mp3, ogg, acc music files doesn't work properly. The progress bar doesn't move and the play time it stucks at 00:00...

[4]: When you scroll very fast on deepin-system-monitor 1.4.8.1-1 it crashes(?), closes unexpectedly.

[5]: If you save a file written with deepin-editor 1.2.6.3-1, in a foreign language except english and chinese when you open it again it contains unknown characters.
