Hi
Installed deepin 15.10 on a PC that allready had other distros runing without problems but no previous deepin versions.
And some windows open with black borders arround like file manager for example.
And have no transparency effect on dock and control center.
And labels of dock apps in large black background.
My PC its a HP Compaq dc7800p small factor with integrated Intel 82Q35 graphics card.
Help plz or have to use ohter distro on my school PCs that will be bad cause like deepin very much.
Thx

Pedro Bernardino

Deepin team had huge undertaking for version 15.10, and that is Kwin new window manager and transition from Debian unstable to stable as base. So there are some rough edges. I would suggest that you install 15.9 version and then upgrade to 15.10 thru update. Than you will have 15.10 with Mutter as window manager and Debian unstable as base. That version will be supported for 3 months.. By that time all issues in 15.10 stable should be solved, and you can switch..

Kwin is disaster without any access on settings. Plasma desktop gives that ability...

For example, the show desktop button doesn't minimize the windows, it just moved them to the corners.
And there is no way to change it to "minimize all"

There is no way to hide the title bar to the firefox...
etc

These issues are good reason to purge the dde-kwin

Deepin team had huge undertaking for version 15.10, and that is Kwin new window manager and transiti ...

I had same problem as OP, but I then tried as you suggested, and it worked without a hitch. I used this method:
  1. $ sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y && sudo apt --fix-broken install && shutdown -h now
Copy the Code
