my hardware is Intel® Core™ i7 3517U Processor Windows 7 Professional DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM, 4 GB, OnBoard Memory.

I saw that document but at the moment i want to use Deepin from a USB disk and as so i'd like to save my setting without re-enter them every time. I had a previous ver of deepin with persistence
but then i decided to upgrade to the last ver ...and i lost the previous configuration.... :-(

Let me edit my msg..cause a doubt crossed my mind...can i use the procedure to install deepin on a USB disk without compromise Windows stuff?

U must use WTG-enabled USB disk.  
Installation is the same.
U can just use WTG USB disk as a hard disk.

Anyway ..for the one interested...today i tried with the prev. version of Deepin (15.8) and the instruction posted here : http://www.fabbnet.net/Live_Persistent.htm and it worked.
i suppose then that somethin changed with the latest update...

Ok found it..15.8 let me mount the persistence disk without any problems...or even better when i run it the persistence disk is already monuted ...15.10 doesn't let me!!!!!!

..so does anyone know why deepin 15.10 doesn't let me mount the persistence partition on the USB disk?

Did you try the mentioned "U must use WTG-enabled USB disk." above?

Anyway Guys..i really hope that one of the developer will see this post and tell why 15.10 doesnt work... In the meantime i switch back to the 15.8 that it's working with persistence and it's super easy to make with the link i posted above

A quick update about my experience with 15.10 and 15.11 ...Eventually no one were able to tell me what does it changed from 15.8 to 15.10 so i switch back to 15.8 that is working perfectly with USB persistence...if anyone need help on how to create it...it is super simple and work very well (here to help if anyone need it) ...For the deepin developer ..it is a very beautifull distro but what the heck!!! 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' !!!!!!! AMEN!
