Hello,

I upgraded to Deepin 11 stable release today (Complete fresh install of Deepin 11). And I am busy installing LAMP stack on my PC. I noticed that the distro only has older previous stable versions for this software. Deepin 11 stable only supports PHP 7.0 and MariaDB 10.1.

Can someone please give me the exact steps I need to take to upgrade to PHP 7.2 and MariaDB 10.3 or 10.4, please? I need these versions installed for my local sites.

Because Deepin is based on Debian Stretch, so you can add any repos that support Debian Stretch.

So you can add sury.org repo to upgrade php, see: https://tecadmin.net/install-php-debian-9-stretch/

And also, you can add Mariadb official repo to upgrade Mariadb: https://downloads.mariadb.org/ma ... us&version=10.4

Or you can just download the deb package for one-time installation: https://downloads.mariadb.org/ma ... s_group=deb_package
