    • Chrome downloaded files opening with VSCode

    Everytime I download something using Google Chrome and try to open using the "show in folder" option from Chrome's download tab, it opens the file in VSCode.

    Anyone knows how to change that?

    Try run the following command in the terminal :

    xdg-mime default dde-file-manager.desktop inode/directory

    This is really a pain in the a....
    Each new update of vsscode, systematically change the inode/directory entry, and this kind of patch, or direct editing of the mimapps.list need to be run.
    I wonder why M$ still insist to change this.
    vscode is NOT a file manager
