Hi,

The default installer kernel boot parameters result in video signal loss short after booting - I never make it to the GUI.
When launching MD5 checker with additional parameters like (nomodeset or nouveau.modeset=0) it works, and does not loose video signal.

Unfortunately, the same trick (with nomodeset or nouveau.modeset=0) does not help with launching the installer - it gets stuck and never makes it to the GUI.

What parameters should I add (or remove) to launch the installer on the following machine?

Yeah, I can access other TTY's. Any ideas what it might help with?

hi,you need to add kernel parameters

nouveau.modeset=0

None of them helped.
Still the same result - hanging around lightdm.
Iso was checked and OK.
USB was checked on other machine and OK.
Any other ideas?

in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
Find the (uncommented) line greeter-session= and set it to
greeter-session=lightdm-deepin-greeter
and try to systemctl start lightdm.service

greeter-se ...

This also didn't help - boot still hangs.

The installer doesn't even boot using an AMD Navi GPU in UEFI.
