安装系统只需要DVD1就行了，后面都是可选软件包，可用于离线安装软件的

DVD-2,-3是可选应用的安装包,只装系统的话,用DVD-1就行了,debian-update可能是用来把8.0升级到8.1的,纯属猜测

Debian 8.0的全部安装介质是85张CD，或者13张DVD，或者3张BD，或者2张BD-DL。
但是真正提供BT或HTTP下载的只有少数最常用的介质，比如最前面的3张DVD。
下面的8.1版升级镜像是用于升级安装的，适合于已经安装了8.0的用户。
一般来说只用DVD1即可，不过取决于用户打算使用什么桌面环境。
Debian现在的版本提供以下6种桌面环境：Gnome，KDE，Xfce，Cinnamon，LXDE，MATE。
不是所有这几种桌面环境都能通过DVD1离线安装，至少我在测试LXDE和MATE时发现需要后面的某个镜像。
所以我还是更倾向于在线安装版。

补充一下，Debian官网提供CDimage search功能查看特定的包位于哪个镜像上。搜索debian cdimage search tool可以找到。
问题是对于某些桌面环境，所需的包可能散布在若干个不同的镜像上。基本上只有Gnome、KDE这样的桌面环境可以仅使用DVD1完成离线安装。
所以我仍然倾向在线安装，或者直接使用特定桌面环境的Live镜像（不支持UEFI）。

等等！我昨晚用dvd1安装的，安装kde等还是要在线安装，就因为服务器慢，我昨晚整整安了两个小时！

你就不能换个国内的镜像站么？玩linux第一件事就是切国内的镜像站，速度基本都能彪满带宽。比较快的镜像站基本都是体制内大学的镜像站，体制内的大学不差钱，镜像站用的都是教育专线，速度杠杠的。

比较快的几个大学：中科大镜像站，北京几个大学的镜像站(北京交通大学，北京理工大，清华下游镜像站拖的太多，反而没以前快了)

在线安装，服务器慢的要死！

只有DVD1可以引导安装系统。后面的是数据盘，不能安装系统的。
Debian安全更新是必须的，内核，虚拟包等重要源只有security.debian.org有，其他全球各镜像源都没有。
常用的源换那些商业服务器快。我就用http://mirrors.com/debian/ 速度很快的哦。
一般安装系统，半小时这样完成。

DVD1里面就有带KDE吧，安装的时候有网络设置先跳过如何
