    Ubuntu 24.04 LTS 才刚刚发布，将在 10 月释出的 Ubuntu 发行版下一个 24.10 代号为 Oracular Oriole（神谕黄鹂）。作为 LTS 版本之后的下一个版本，而距离下一个 LTS 版本还有两年时间，意味着 Ubuntu 24.10 的开发者可以更自由的发挥创意。

    Ubuntu 24.10 预计将使用 Linux 6.11 内核、GNOME 47 桌面环境、GCC 14.1 编译器，将对即将推出的英特尔 Lunar Lake 平台和 Battlemage 显卡、AMD Zen 5、AMD RDNA4 显卡等新硬件提供开箱即用支持。

    Ubuntu的版本代号是按“字母次序的形容词-动物”组合而成，目前取名变得日益复杂，某种程度上其并不不能体现版本特点，它更多体现为 Ubuntu 的包存档名称。
