I have a Acer notbook with Windows 10 64 bits. I am trying to install the Deepin 15.4.1 using a Pendrive, i follow the instruction of this page(https://www.deepin.org/en/installation/), but when i click on the "install Deepin" in the Pendrive boot, the instalation just stop and stay at the background image. I don't know what to do. i disabled the Secure boot, tried to boot in legacy mode, changed the slot of pendrive, changed the Pendrive, used anothers Programs to create the bootable pendrive(Rufus)

Can anybody help me?

OS: Windows 10 64 bits
RAM: 4 GB
CPU: Intei Core i5 5200u
GPU: intel HD 5500

Hello

I would say the boot usb is corrupted. Even you did follow instructions, try again formating disk to fat32 and boot with uefi, use your favourite tool to create, or terminal using

lsblk to check your partition and

dd if=/path/to/iso of=/dev/sdb1 (make sure correct disk)

dd won't show output be patient
try boot again

On one laptop I had problems with USB installation, too.
When I used an DVD to install it,it worked fine.
But that's not the solution for everyone!
At the other laptop the USB stick worked and the DVD didn't.

A problem I've found with Deepin is that its installer isn't a "UEFI" one, like most of Linux distros, so one need to config the bios previously to exectute Deepin and at the end Deepin can't simply work alongside UEFI systems if one doesn't have dual BIOS. I think that it is a problem that must be resolved by devs as most actual pcs and laptops use UEFI boot.

To add something more, use the "Fedora Media Writer" to create Linux bootables, it works just good for Deepin and other Linux distros. As I said previously Deepin isn't UEFI so you need to re-configure BIOS if you previously installed an UEFI system. I can't even emulate Deepin in Hyper-V because of that.
